Do Catholics put the Church and tradition above the Bible? Do we believe in salvation by works? Do we worship Mary as a goddess? Catholic apologist Dave Armstrong ranked these as the three worst lies about Catholicism, and in this series finale, he and former Protestant pastor Kenny Burchard answer each one. Dave lays out the three-legged stool of Bible, Church, and Tradition, with the Church as "the pillar and bulwark of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15), the council's decree in Acts 15:28, and Dei Verbum 9-10. On salvation, we read James 2 and the two passages Dave calls the best: the rich young man (Mark 10:17-21) and the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25). Then the number one lie, answered from Lumen Gentium chapter 8 and the Catechism (CCC 2113). And Kenny confesses he once accused Catholics of worshiping Mary from his own pulpit.
