The Month of March is dedicated to St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus Christ and the protector of the Holy Family. In this Day 6 meditation, we reflect on St. Joseph as the model of attention to the presence of God.

The ancient patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—lived with a deep awareness of God’s presence. Yet St. Joseph surpasses them, for he lived not only in faith but in the visible presence of Jesus Christ Himself.

In this meditation we learn:

• How the patriarchs cultivated awareness of God
• Why the presence of God is the hinge of perfection
• How St. Joseph lived continually in God's presence
• Why ordinary work can help us grow closer to God
• How Christians encounter Christ today through the Gospel and the Eucharist

St. Joseph teaches us that every action, every labor, and every moment can be offered to God.

Whether you are a laborer, artisan, parent, or worker, this meditation reminds us that our daily duties can become paths to holiness when done in God's presence.

May St. Joseph help us remember always that God sees our thoughts, words, and actions, and guide us toward a life of virtue and faith.
