Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!

On this First Sunday of the Great Fast — the Sunday of Orthodoxy — we celebrate the restoration of the holy icons in 843 AD and the Church’s bold proclamation that God truly became man.

If Christ took on flesh, He can be depicted.
If He entered history, matter can proclaim His glory.

This homily explores:
