Glory to Jesus Christ! 🙏 In today’s Gospel reflection from the Book of Luke, we revisit the powerful story of Peter’s miraculous catch of fish. This is a passage many of us have heard countless times, but when we pause and reflect, it teaches us one of the hardest — yet most essential — lessons of faith: trusting God even when it defies our common sense.

Peter, a seasoned fisherman, had worked all night and caught nothing. Yet when the Lord told him to cast his nets again — against all logic, after cleaning and drying them — Peter obeyed. The result? A miraculous abundance of fish that nearly sank the boats.

This homily reminds us:

To trust God’s plan, even when it doesn’t make sense.

To let go of worry about things beyond our control.

To remember our ultimate purpose is not wealth or earthly success, but eternal life with Christ.

No matter what storms you’re facing or sleepless nights of worry, God knows you, He has had a plan for you since before time began, and His call is always for your salvation. 🌟
