On this First Saturday of the Month, dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we celebrate the Feast of All Saints and reflect on the true meaning of holiness.

Drawing from a profound reflection by Fr. Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalene, this sermon reminds us that the vast majority of saints are unknown to the world — humble souls who lived faithfully, fulfilled their duties with love, and are now numbered among the elect in Heaven.

Holiness is not reserved for canonized saints alone. We are all called to be saints.
To be holy is to be conformed to Christ, to imitate His meekness, humility, and charity.

In the Gospel of the Beatitudes, Our Lord teaches us the path to sanctity:

Blessed are the poor in spirit

Blessed are the meek

Poverty of spirit is true humility, and humility is the foundation of all virtue. As the saints teach, humility is difficult — but possible through grace, prayer, and devotion to Our Lady, whose Immaculate Heart leads us safely to Christ.

The message of Fatima is a call to:

Holiness

Self-denial

Sacrifice

Charity

Love of neighbor

Let us never lose hope. Let us keep striving. And let us trust that, by the grace of God and through Mary, we too can become saints.

🙏 Praised be Jesus and Mary, now and forever.
