What does it mean to be a Catholic man in an age of passivity, confusion, and collapsing fatherhood?

The message applies not only to fathers but also to young men discerning marriage, mothers raising sons, wives supporting husbands, and every Catholic concerned about the next generation.

At the conclusion, the sermon returns to Christ's command to the paralytic: arise, take up thy bed, and go home. The message for Catholic men is similar: stop surrendering to discouragement, embrace the truth, fulfill your duties, and become the men God created you to be. The preacher likewise asks Catholic mothers and women to pray for their men and boys and build them up for the struggle for Christ.
