Discover the inspiring life of St. Christopher of Palestine, commemorated on August 30th. A 6th-century Roman monk, St. Christopher embraced the monastic path at the Monastery of St. Theodosius near Jerusalem. Through years of prayer, fasting, and spiritual struggle, he overcame temptations, guided fellow monks to Christ, and dedicated his life to worship at the Holy Cross.

For 11 years, he prayed nightly in a cave, making countless prostrations, and later spent 50 years in ascetic struggle on Mount Sion. His holy life teaches us perseverance, humility, and the power of prayer in the face of trials.
