On the 11th Sunday after Pentecost, this homily reflects on the life and mission of St. Paul the Apostle—from persecutor of the early Church to the “Apostle to the Gentiles.” Drawing on his epistles and the witness of the Church Fathers, we explore Paul’s dramatic conversion, his humility in admitting his past sins, and his tireless preaching of the Gospel to the nations.

Through St. Paul’s example, we are reminded of the power of God’s grace, the importance of holding fast to the Catholic faith received at baptism, and the call to boldly profess: “Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.”

🙏 May we, like St. Paul, always say: “By the grace of God, I am what I am.”
