In this inspiring homily on the Parable of the Sower from the Gospel of St. Luke, we are invited to reflect on the condition of our hearts and the transformative power of God’s Word.

Christ teaches us that the seed — the Word of God — falls on different kinds of soil: the hardened path, the rocky ground, the thorny soil, and the good soil. Each represents how we receive and live out the Gospel in our daily lives.

Through this reflection, we are called to examine:

Have we allowed our hearts to harden?

Do we let distractions choke our faith?

Or are we cultivating good soil where God’s Word can grow and bear fruit a hundredfold?

Fr. reminds us that Jesus calms every storm when His Word is rooted deep within us. The question remains: What kind of soil are we?
