Over the weekend, Pope Leo XIV restored a papal tradition by taking possession of the papal apartment in the Apostolic Palace. Shortly after his election last May, he had removed the seal from the apartment while it was undergoing renovations. During that time, he lived in the Vatican’s Palazzo del Sant’Uffizio. The newly renovated papal apartment includes several rooms, a private study, and a small chapel.
