In this short reflection, we honor the Holy Martyrs Gas, Decius, and Zotus of Nicomedia, who courageously gave their lives for Christ in 303 AD during the reign of Emperor Diocletian (284–305).
These saints destroyed a pagan temple as a bold act of faith, refusing to deny Christ even in the face of brutal torture. After enduring terrible suffering, they were drowned in the sea with stones tied around their necks, sealing their witness with their blood.

Their feast day is commemorated on October 21st, reminding all Christians of the courage, devotion, and faithfulness required to follow Christ even unto death.

🙏 May the prayers of Saints Gas, Decius, and Zotus strengthen us in our faith and devotion.
