Christopher Bray, Senior Correspondent at The Federalist says Karen Bass will waltz back into the Los Angeles mayor's office by roundly defeating her likely opponent Spencer Pratt by a whopping sixty to forty percent margin in this November's General Election.

Spencer Pratt was the cleanest shot Los Angeles had at a course correction — a Palisades fire victim, a republican in everything but registration, an outsider with name recognition that money can't buy — and according to Bray he will get buried by some twenty points in a runoff against an incumbent with verified ties to communist groups stretching back to the 1970s, i.e. the Venceremos Brigade & leftist terrorist organization the Weather Underground.

Couple that with the LA Board of Supervisors returning the same hard-left bloc that has spent a decade transferring wealth away from working families, hollowing out small business, and protecting the cartel of nonprofits feeding off the homelessness industrial complex, and the verdict writes itself.

The voters of Los Angeles County had every reason to throw the failed far left Marxists out and will instead double down on their anti-human failed policies.

Not in the primary. Not on the Board. Not anywhere it counted.

California isn't a state in decline. Whereas a state in decline can be turned around, the Golden State is one that has chosen, repeatedly at the ballot box, to destroy a paradise in favor of elevating objectively failed policies promoted by proponents of big government.

There's a difference between a patient who can be treated and a patient who refuses treatment, and the rest of the country needs to stop pretending. We are indeed looking at the first failed state in the union.
