The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects a $1.9 trillion federal deficit for the current fiscal year, with the government spending roughly $7.4 trillion.

Since October 2025 alone, the federal government has run a deficit of $954 billion, which sits at roughly 6% of GDP — significantly above historical averages !!!

Further, the CBO projects nearly $20 trillion in additional deficits over just the next decade.

Vice President JD Vance tells us they're going to find hundreds of billions in fraud and eventually, maybe one-day balance the budget for the first time in a generation.

However, CBO says otherwise as does the Office of Management & Budget (OMB) & 'the math.'

You cannot close a $1.9 trillion annual gap by hunting waste — even if you eliminated California's federal footprint entirely, that's a one-time savings, not a structural fix to the fiat spend-thrift of a government that spends to entrap every American from cradle to grave.

For context, Mike also revisits the 2012–2014 fight for fiscal sanity, when the people now defending $7.4 trillion budgets were calling balanced-budget conservatives every name in the book.

We the People, need a government that will tell the TRUTH. The budget is not going to be balanced. Stop cheerleading and start counting.
