Trump signed a proclamation amending tariffs on aluminum, steel, and copper — then pitched it as a boost to U.S. manufacturing, but built entirely around the importation of more manufactured goods.

We were told tariffs would level the playing field for American manufacturers against foreign slave-wage labor. However, now the same administration is openly subsidizing the imports, that tariffs were supposed to discourage.
