St. Theodora (Theodosia) of Tyre, a young virgin consecrated to God, courageously stood before persecutors during the Roman persecutions of 308 A.D. At only 18 years old, she boldly encouraged imprisoned Christians to remain steadfast in their faith—an act that led to her brutal arrest and martyrdom.

Despite unimaginable torture, she showed no fear—only joy and unwavering love for Christ. Her heroic witness reminds us that the blood of martyrs truly is the seed of the Church.
