The month of March is dedicated to St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus and the patron of the Universal Church. In this meditation, we reflect on St. Joseph as a model of Christian charity toward our neighbor.

True charity does not stop at loving those who love us. As Christ teaches, we must love friends, enemies, and even those indifferent to us. St. Joseph lived this virtue perfectly in silence, humility, and sacrifice.

Through his example as:

Head of the Holy Family

A humble artisan

A faithful citizen

A voluntary exile

St. Joseph teaches us the virtues necessary to guide all our relationships with others.

In this reflection we explore:
• Why charity toward God and neighbor are inseparable
• St. Joseph's example of holy friendship
• How Christians must love even their enemies
• Charity toward those who ignore or overlook us
• The universal love that flows from the Heart of God

St. Joseph’s life shows us that true holiness is found in hidden charity, patience, gentleness, and love for all souls.
