What would happen if God forgave you the way you forgive others?

On Forgiveness Sunday, standing at the threshold of the Great Fast, we are confronted with one of Christ’s most sobering teachings:

“If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive you.”

Forgiveness is not sentimental. It is not weakness. It is not pretending evil didn’t happen.

Forgiveness is spiritual warfare.
