Discover the inspiring story of Saint Anastasius the Fuller, a courageous Christian martyr from Salona in Dalmatia who gave his life for Christ during the persecutions of Diocletian (284–311 A.D.). Known for boldly proclaiming his faith and painting a cross on his door, St. Anastasius was arrested for his missionary work and sentenced to death for his unwavering confession of Christ as the true God.

After his martyrdom—being cast into the sea with a stone around his neck—his body was found by the pious matron Ascalopia, who gave him an honorable burial. His holy relics later became a source of many miracles, glorifying God through his witness.

Join us as we honor Saint Anastasius the Fuller, commemorated on October 25th and December 5th, and reflect on the steadfast faith of early Christian martyrs who laid down their lives for the Gospel.
