On October 24th, the Church commemorates the Holy Martyr Syncletica (Sinlea) and her two daughters, who courageously gave their lives for Christ under the persecution of King Dunan. Born into a noble family, Saint Syncletica became a widow while still young. She devoted herself to raising her daughters in the Christian faith, living a life of virtue, purity, and prayer.

When the cruel King Dunan began persecuting Christians, he demanded that Syncletica renounce Christ. Her steadfast faith and bold confession of Christ inspired many — even as she faced public humiliation and the martyrdom of her children before her very eyes. Her response to worldly shame remains a testament to the power of divine courage and eternal hope.

Join us as we reflect on the life, trials, and ultimate victory of Saint Syncletica and her daughters, whose unwavering faith continues to strengthen believers today.

🙏 May their prayers strengthen us to remain steadfast in Christ, even in times of trial.
