A widow from Sweden is shown a courtroom that is not on earth. Christ sits as judge. And permission is given for the enemy himself to speak, to explain exactly how he wins a soul in the first place. He does not hesitate. He boasts.

This video looks at Saint Bridget of Sweden's recorded vision of that courtroom, the three sins named directly in her own words, sensuality, love of money, and gluttony, and what the Blessed Virgin Mary says in that same scene that changes everything about how the vision is meant to be understood. We connect each of these three to Scripture, including First John's warning on the lust of the flesh and Paul's warning to Timothy on the love of money, and to the Catechism's own teaching on each. We also bring in Saint John of the Cross's image of birdlime and Saint Thomas Aquinas's warning about presumption, to understand not just what these sins are, but why they are so easy to stay quietly caught in without noticing.

This is private revelation, and it is treated that way throughout, but its themes sit directly on top of Scripture and defined Church teaching, which is exactly why it still holds up centuries later.
