Judge Hermogenes, who had previously received a prophetic vision about his journey, summoned the Christians to trial. According to ancient accounts, Menas delivered a powerful four-hour speech defending the faith—leading to his miraculous preservation after a brutal sentence to have his eyes and feet destroyed.

These miracles moved Hermogenes to conversion, inspiring many others to embrace Christianity. Ultimately, Emperor Garius ordered Menas, Hermogenes, and Eugraphus to be tortured and beheaded for their unwavering commitment to Christ.
