On the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, this sermon explores one of the deepest mysteries of the Catholic Faith: How can God, who is perfect and needs nothing, desire our love and suffer from its rejection?

Drawing upon the teachings of St. Thomas Aquinas and the revelations given to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, we contemplate the Sacred Heart of Jesus—the Heart that has loved mankind so much and received so little love in return.
