A group of students from a Catholic boys’ school in Maryland has safely returned home after being stranded in the United Arab Emirates during missile strikes from Iran. What was supposed to be a two-hour layover on an international exchange trip to Thailand turned into a four-day ordeal in Abu Dhabi. Justin Myers, a teacher and college counselor at The Heights School who accompanied the students on the trip, joins to discuss how he and the students discovered missiles were being fired overhead, how their faith helped guide them through those uncertain moments, and what it was like to have support in arranging their safe return.
