Christ is among us!
In this week’s homily, Father reflects on a simple but deeply important question that many people—quietly or openly—ask:

“Why should I go to church?”

Inspired by a conversation with a longtime friend and rooted in the Gospel reading for the Feast of St. Andrew, this message dives into the deeper purpose behind our worship, our participation in the life of the Church, and our search for meaning in Christ.

Father explains how Christ’s question to Andrew — “What do you seek?” — remains the essential question for every Christian today. When we come to church, we do not come out of habit or social obligation; we come because:

It is in Christ that we are truly alive,

It is within the assembly of believers that we find life,

And it is in the Church where meaning, purpose, and eternal direction take shape.

Using the example of St. Andrew the First-Called, the homily explores how the search for purpose leads us to Christ, how our spiritual patrimony connects us to the apostolic faith, and how our worship shapes not only this life but the life to come.
