Father James Altman delivered a forceful address at the gathering celebrating Bishop Fulton Sheen's beatification, urging Catholics to defend traditional Church teaching and take responsibility for the faith's future. Reflecting on the Church's response to COVID-19, Altman criticized bishops for closing churches while other businesses remained open—and recalled an incident in which Catholics were reportedly denied entry to a church for a rosary march. The faithful, he insists, must not remain silent in the face of failures among Church leaders.

Altman emphasizes catechesis, devotion to the Holy Eucharist, the Holy Face of Jesus, and embracing the Cross. Drawing on Sheen's warning that the laity would play a central role in saving the Church, he calls Catholics to become more active in defending their faith. He sharply criticizes Pope Leo XIV, synodality, interreligious dialogue, and what he describes as the weakening of traditional Catholic doctrine, warning of the emergence of a counterfeit Church.

Citing Sheen, Pope St. Pius X, and other figures, Altman urges the faithful to understand Church teaching—including Vatican II and Trent, and to prioritize truth and the salvation of souls over concerns about being perceived as uncharitable. He praises LifeSiteNews and John-Henry Westen for their coverage and appeals to attendees to support the organization. The message is urgent: the shepherds have failed. The laity must act. And the time is now.
