Sister Faustina senses something evil near her cell. She does not run. In the name of God, she commands it to answer her directly. What are you looking for. The reply comes back flat, almost bored, and she writes it down exactly as it happened in diary entry 1127.

This video walks through that documented encounter, along with two other dangers Christ names directly in entries 580 and 1076, dangers that have nothing to do with dramatic sin and everything to do with quiet neglect. We look at what spiritual idleness actually means for someone who is exhausted and constantly busy, why hiding sin does more damage than committing it, and the one thing Christ tells Faustina wounds him more deeply than any sin at all.

Along the way we sit with entry 1486, one of the most comforting exchanges in her entire diary, where Christ speaks directly to a soul convinced their failures were too far gone for mercy to reach.
