Underneath the wrestling masks, eagle powers, stretchy pants, and absurd one-liners is a story about every human person: our desire to be seen, known, loved, and to discover who God created us to be.

We explore why this film has stayed with us for two decades, why some Catholics called it blasphemous, and why we believe it's actually a beautiful story about purpose, desire, vocation, and becoming "a real religious man."
