Struggling with barrenness, Sarai takes matters into her own hands—giving her handmaid Hagar to Abram. But what follows is not peace, but jealousy, suffering, and division.

Yet in the wilderness, something extraordinary happens…

👉 God seeks out the afflicted.

Hagar becomes the only person in Scripture to give God a name: “Thou God seest me.”
