From the central loggia of St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Leo delivered his first Easter Sunday Urbi et Orbi blessing, addressing the city of Rome and the world.

The traditional papal blessing, reserved for the most solemn occasions of the liturgical year, was imparted to the faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square and to those following through global media.

As is customary, a plenary indulgence was granted to all who received the blessing—whether present in person or participating via radio, television, and digital transmission.
