Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary | Mission San Diego de Alcalá

Bishop Robert Reed prays the Glorious Mysteries from Mission San Diego de Alcalá in California. This church is home to California’s first mission and was founded on July 16, 1769, by Saint Junípero Serra, a Franciscan priest. It was the first of 21 missions stretching across California, with Mission San Diego becoming known as the Mother of the Missions.
The Glorious Mysteries:
1.) The Resurrection
2.) The Ascension
3.) The Descent of the Holy Spirit
4.) The Assumption of Mary
5.) The Coronation of the Virgin
It is suggested that the Glorious Mysteries be prayed on Sunday and Wednesday.
