Thousands of men and women religious from around the world gathered in Rome for the Jubilee of Consecrated Life, a two-day celebration of prayer, joy, and gratitude — culminating in Mass with Pope Leo XIV in St. Peter’s Square.
At the opening of the Holy Door, pilgrims filled Via della Conciliazione, praying together as they walked toward the tomb of the Apostle Peter. For many, like Sisters Guadalupe (Mexico) and Immaculata (Tanzania) of the Order of Augustinian Recollects, this was their first pilgrimage to Rome — a moment of deep faith and emotion.
