May 31th is the feast of St. Felix of Nicosia, a humble Capuchin lay brother whose life was marked by extraordinary charity, obedience, penance, and miraculous works.

Born into poverty in Sicily, St. Felix displayed remarkable holiness from his earliest years. As a child working in his father's shoemaking shop, he recoiled from sinful speech and blasphemy. After years of perseverance and prayer, he was finally admitted to the Capuchin Order, where he spent the rest of his life serving God and neighbor.

Blessed with miraculous gifts, St. Felix healed the sick, comforted prisoners, converted hardened sinners, and tirelessly cared for victims during a devastating epidemic. Despite his extraordinary works, he always attributed every grace to God, saying:

"So be it for the love of God."

His life stands as a powerful example of humility, obedience, charity, and unwavering trust in Divine Providence.
