Discover the inspiring life of Venerable John the Chozebite, commemorated on October 28. Born in Thebes, Egypt, Saint John left behind wealth and comfort to embrace the angelic monastic life. Guided by divine revelation, he sought repentance and truth within the Catholic Orthodox Church, eventually becoming known for his humility, miracles, and spiritual wisdom.

This video recounts the incredible story of his ascetic struggles in the desert caves near Chozeba, his battle against temptations, and the many miracles he performed through faith — from casting out demons to healing the sick and bringing rain through prayer.

Saint John teaches us the power of humility, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to God. May his life inspire all who seek the narrow path of holiness.
