Discover the life of Righteous Anna the Prophetess, daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher, who dedicated her life to prayer and fasting in the Temple of Jerusalem. At 84 years old, she witnessed the presentation of the Infant Jesus and, together with St. Simeon, proclaimed that the Messiah had come. The Orthodox Church commemorates her holy memory each year on August 28.
