Today’s Gospel reading reflects on the miraculous catch of fish from Luke 5:1-11, where Christ calls His first disciples—Peter, James, and John. After fishing all night and catching nothing, they obey Christ’s command to cast their nets again, leading to an overwhelming abundance of fish.
