Born in northern Italy during a time of persecution, St. Innocent stood firm before Roman authorities. Condemned to die at the stake, he miraculously escaped after a dream sent by his father. Guided by Providence, he fled to Rome where Pope St. Sylvester ordained him and later appointed him bishop.

For 28 years, St. Innocent zealously spread the Gospel, built churches, and transformed pagan temples into places of Christian worship. His life is a testimony of courage, obedience, and unwavering faith in Christ.
