What does an exorcist who was once a hardened atheist have to say about AI chatbots?
In this conversation I sit down with Fr. Carlos Martins — Catholic priest, exorcist, and host of The Exorcist Files — along with his Protestant co-host Ryan Bethea. We talk about who actually has the authority to cast out demons, what separates a skilled exorcist from a merely holy one, and the strange, funny, and deeply human road that leads people out of atheism and into belief — including Fr. Martins' own conversion and mine.
Then the conversation takes a turn I didn't see coming: AI. Can a demon manipulate an AI? What did Fr. Martins make of the "demonic-like" anomalies he's been shown in chatbot output?
