What makes a great story? And why do so many of the best stories lead us back home?

In Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird, the final scene offers a profound insight into identity, belonging, and self-discovery. Fr. Gregory and Fr. Patrick explore the film's ending (spoiler alert!) and the timeless theme of homecoming that runs through great literature and cinema.

Perhaps the greatest stories aren't just about discovering something new, but about returning home and finally understanding who we are.
