Sacred polyphony for All Souls’ Day: a solemn Catholic Requiem offered in remembrance of the faithful departed and as a musical prayer for eternal rest, mercy and everlasting light.

Through the interwoven voices of polyphonic choral music, the ancient words of the Missa pro defunctis become a profound meditation on death, judgment, divine mercy and the Christian hope of resurrection. Each movement carries the listener from mourning and supplication toward consolation, peace and the promise of eternal life.

Rooted in the Catholic funeral liturgy, this sacred Requiem is especially suited to All Souls’ Day, prayer for deceased family members, remembrance of loved ones, quiet reflection and spiritual meditation. Its solemn harmonies preserve the beauty of the Church’s musical tradition while giving voice to one of its most enduring prayers:

“Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.”

May this Catholic choral music bring consolation to those who mourn and accompany our prayers for all the souls of the faithful departed.
