Nobody talks about the fact that holy families fight too.

We tend to think that saintly families never lose their patience, never argue, never struggle, and always have it all together.

But that’s not reality.

The Holy Family had to flee to Egypt.

The saints faced trials in their homes.

And every family trying to follow Jesus will experience difficult seasons.

The difference isn’t that faithful families never fail.

The difference is that faithful families keep turning back to God.

They apologize.

They forgive.

They pray when they don’t feel like it.

They get back up after they fall.

Again and again.

God isn’t asking you to be perfect.

He’s asking you to be faithful.
