Discover the inspiring story of St. Lucie, Virgin, whose feast day is celebrated on September 19th. Born the daughter of a Scottish king, St. Lucie left behind her royal heritage to dedicate her life to God in solitude and humility.

She lived near the River Meuse in the Diocese of Verdun, where she embraced a life of holiness and virtue until her death in 1090. After her passing, she was honored as a saint by Henry, Bishop of Verdun, and her relics continue to be venerated today at Mount St. Lucie and Sampina.
