In this video, Jenna and Beth finally get to share something we’ve been holding close for a long time: the Blessed Is She Journaling Bible. This Bible has been years in the making—and seeing it in our hands still feels surreal.

We walk through what makes this Bible different:
– A single-column layout designed for prayerful reading
– Carefully chosen fonts and proportions
– Original artwork by Susanna April
– Thoughtful prayer prompts written by Beth
– A soft black faux suede cover with James 4:8 stamped on the front: “Draw near to God.”

This is the first Bible Blessed Is She has created from top to bottom—from vision to design to prayer. While we worked with professional Bible editors and proofreaders (as required for Sacred Scripture), this Bible is fully and authentically ours. A true labor of love.

We also talk honestly about the challenges of creating a Bible—the specialized process, the many iterations, the ups and downs—and how deeply we trusted the Lord’s timing through it all. From St. Jerome’s feast day showing up at just the right moment, to the overwhelming gratitude we feel now, this project has been covered in prayer from the beginning.

Our hope is simple: that this Bible becomes a place where you encounter the living Word of God and are changed by it.
