00:01 - Intro
Jazmin grew up Catholic in a Mexican family, where Catholicism formed an important part of her family and cultural background. Following her parents’ divorce and as she entered her late teens, however, her connection with the Catholic faith gradually began to fade. She eventually found her way into non-denominational Christianity, where she encountered many genuinely positive things, including strong preaching, music, fellowship and a vibrant sense of community. Yet despite these experiences, Jazmin began to sense that something was spiritually missing. That search eventually led her to explore the Early Church Fathers, Catholic debates and the historical claims of Catholicism, challenging many of the assumptions she had developed about the Church. Her journey ultimately brought her back to the Catholic faith she had grown up with, but now with a deeper and more intentional understanding of why she believed it.
