Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, “My secret is simple. I pray.”
You want the secret to the amazing life she lived? Don’t complicate prayer.

Prayer is a simple conversation between you and your Heavenly Father who loves you. In any normal conversation, you listen and you speak.

So listen first.
Every day I open up the Gospel and I ask, “God, how are You speaking to my heart through Your Word today?”

Then I talk to Him from my heart using ACTS:

A — Adoration
“God, you are awesome.” Sit in His greatness before you dump your problems.

C — Contrition
“God, I’m not awesome.” Not beating yourself up...just giving Him your sins and letting Him love you there.

T — Thanksgiving
Count your gratefuls. “Give thanks in all circumstances.” Gratitude rewires your mind and sets your heart right.

S — Stuff (or Supplication)
Yeah, all the stuff. Cast your cares on Him because He cares for you.

But above all, remember this:

When you pray, you’re coming into the presence of your Heavenly Father who loves you. You're sitting in His presence and saying, “You’re my Father.”

Just spend time with Him every day.
That can be the secret to your amazing life.
