What if the voice leading you astray speaks the language of faith, scripture, and holiness? In this episode of The Exorcist Files, Ryan Bethea and exorcist Father Carlos Martins dive into one of the most insidious forms of extraordinary demonic influence: diabolical obsession. Through two striking, parallel accounts, we follow Trevor—an ordinary young man whose unrequited infatuation spirals into an inescapable, spiritually justified fixation—and Steve, an ambitious engineering student trapped for eight months in a cycle of humiliation under the weight of an unchecked "prophetic" word. Discover how the enemy weaponizes isolation, pious language, and false signs, how psychology and the preternatural overlap in phenomena like limerence, and the simple truth of Christ that shatters the trap of obsession.
