St. Potitus (Potitus) is commemorated by the Church on July 1. Though only 13 years old when he embraced the Christian faith, he displayed extraordinary courage, converting his own pagan father through his unwavering witness. God worked many miracles through this holy youth, including healing a woman afflicted with leprosy, converting entire households, and delivering the emperor's daughter from demonic possession.

Instead of receiving gratitude, St. Potitus endured horrific torture under Emperor Antoninus before finally giving his life for Jesus Christ. His inspiring story reminds Christians that true faith remains steadfast even in the face of suffering and death.
