If the Eucharist truly is the source and summit of our lives—why don’t we act like it?
Father Robert McTeigue, S.J challenges Catholics to examine how we approach the Mass. If we really believed we were encountering Christ Himself—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—would we treat the sacred casually?
Would we arrive late, leave early, or handle the Eucharist without reverence?
The Church teaches that the Eucharist is not a symbol, but the living presence of Christ. When that truth fades, so does our sense of awe—and eventually, our faith itself.
