Please help support our latest documentary about the Oratorians in Cardiff and their Oratory ‘in formation’. Filming has already begun and we hope to have a final piece ready for July this year. It will showcase the life of the parish across the year while getting to know the many characters behind it as well as the Welsh landscape. There are already many similar themes to its predecessor ‘A Nun’s life’. Theme’s I like; Buildings built for God being saved, people quietly getting on, prayers preceding action. Before the arrival of the Oratorians both the church building and parish numbers were in terminal decline. Events were following a well trodden path in the UK especially for work class communities. The Angel of Managed Decline for reasons unknown placed a tick in the box where all expected a cross. Now nearly eight years on the Oratorian effect has brought with it a tide of new life. What’s so special? Does God have a soft spot for the Welsh?
