Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Spain reached a powerful moment in Barcelona, where he blessed and inaugurated the tallest tower of the Sagrada Família in an awe-inspiring celebration. It was his final stop in Barcelona. Earlier, he had met with organizations that support the city’s most vulnerable and answered a few tough questions from a child. After the spectacle of the Sagrada Família, the Pope descends into humanity’s deepest struggles, traveling to the Canary Islands and highlighting migrants who risk their lives crossing from Africa in hopes of reaching Europe.
