Palm Sunday brought victory.
Good Friday brought sacrifice.

In 1865, the American Civil War effectively ended on Palm Sunday when Robert E. Lee surrendered to Ulysses S. Grant.
Hope was restored. The nation could breathe again.

But just five days later… on Good Friday…
Abraham Lincoln was assassinated.

Victory… then suffering.
Triumph… then sacrifice.

It’s the same pattern we see in the life of Jesus Christ.
Palm Sunday leads to Good Friday.
But Good Friday is never the end of the story.

Too many of us walk through Holy Week like it’s just another week.
We hear the readings. We go through the motions. And nothing changes.

Not this year.

This Holy Week is an invitation to go deeper—
to pray more intentionally,
to sacrifice more boldly,
to walk closer with Jesus in His Passion.

Don’t let this be another Holy Week that passes you by.
